Hoorah for me!

There are people who have babies, and a month later they're back into shape (they don't even look like they had one). Other people who have had babies don't shed the baby weight for months. I happen to be one of the moms whose body decides to take awhile in losing weight. I've always had a hard time losing weight, but after this last pregnancy I decided that that needed to change. I decided that after having Jaxson I wanted to eat healthier and be more active. I don't want to have any sort of complications when we decide to have another baby. Eating more healthier, cutting out junk food, and being more active seems to have paid off. I have lost all my Jaxson weight, plus 10lbs-I've only got 5lbs left to be completely baby weight free. I've also discovered that water is my friend-I keep water bottles stocked in the fridge. Walking and playing around with my kids makes me feel more energized. I don't have to go to a restaurant anymore to enjoy a good meal-although it is nice once and awhile to go on a date.

Yesterday, I went shopping for some new capris for the summer. I've gotten to the point where all my pants didn't fit, and were falling off (quite the self-esteem booster). And although my body is not the same as it use to be, I'm starting to feel much better about myself.

So, hoorah for me!

Congrats sweetheart! That's such a great feeling to be able to go shopping because everything you own is too big. I love it!
