The Cleggs go to Fresno

Or I should say, the Cleggs go to Fresno-minus James. Yep we took a little trip last week to visit the Rasmussen Cousins in Fresno, California. My Mom wanted to go out there and asked if I would go with her, James said yes (I was excited to go, haven't seen the cousins in about a 1 1/2 years). We left last Monday morning to make our trip across the states. It was a very long day, we were in the car for 14 hrs, too which the last hour Jaxson made it known that he was not happy at all. We got to stay with Erilynne and her family, and what a cute family they have. Kymmber and Cadee gave up their room to invade for the week, which was very nice of them. Tuesday, Erilynne planned a BBQ, and all the cousins made it over. Nobody knew that I was there with the boys, so it was a nice suprise for everyone to see me. Wednesday we had game night with the usual Loose staples of Guacomole & Ruffles Chips, and various other snacking items. Thursday, Lynns wife Lydia wanted to make dinner for us-a real mexican feast. It was very yummy, and I ate everything. Friday, everyone came over again and we again played games and had fun chatting.
The Christiansens have a pool in their backyard, so Jordan went swimming everyday. I wish I brought my camcorder, because Jordan did so well "swimming" in the pool by himself. There was this yellow ring float that Jordan used, and after watching all the other kids jump into the pool continually, Jordan followed example. I was a little hestitant at first, but it was so much fun to watch him having fun. I think next year we'll put him in swim lessons.
Because Fresno is in the Central Valley, and apparently their air quality isn't the best, my body decided to obtain a sinus infection. At first I thought it was allergies, but benadryll wasn't working. So for the last half of the week, I was constantly blowing and wiping my noise and drinking water. I still have it, and I think that the boys got it too, oh yeah and my Mom got it as well.
I had a fun time getting to know my cousins again and getting to know Kymmber. That girl helps out a ton, and even became a go-to person for Jaxson. The kids started school on wednesday, so it was neat to have them come home and ask them how school was.
On Friday we decided that we would make the trip home in 2 days. I still wasn't feeling the best, and I didn't want to do 14 hrs again. So after many phone calls, and telling my husband that I missed him alot, we figured out that we would stop in Elko on Saturday, and then make our way home on Sunday. Paul and Sam were so nice to let us crash at their place, and Jordan and Moose were so excited to see and play with each other. I thought that we made good time going to Elko and going home. We had a very fun trip, and I can say that this summer I driven from California to Missouri and back.

This was probably the only time that Jaxson and Colton got along-on a computer chair going around in circles. Colton doesn't have to share his toys with anyone at home, so he had a hard time letting Jaxson into his territory.

Jaxson actually sat in the float for about a half hour, and I think it was because I wasn't there. Sure enough, when I came back outside, he wanted to be out and with me.

Jordan and his little floatation device.

Aunt Patti can make anyone beg for anything.

I kept Jordan up on Friday, not only because he was having so much fun playing with his cousins, but I knew that we had an early morning the next day, and wanted him to go to sleep early Friday night. He decided otherwise. He actually kept trying to fall asleep before dinner, but I kept waking him up. This is him after dinner, fell asleep while everyone else was watching Ben 10 Alien Force.
