I am a Domestic Goddess

I wanted to declare this week that I am a Domestic Goddess. Why do I declare this? Why for the extra time I've spent making yummy goodies. Tomatoes are starting to turn red, and what do you do when you've got 20 or so tomatoes, why you can them. Yep, I went through the whole process of peeling, cutting, puréeing, straining, cooking, and bottling tomatoes to get 4 jars of tomatoe sauce (for future tomatoe soup this winter). And while doing that, I also made cookies. We had a block party of Wednesday night, and I made cookies-ww chocolate chip and ww oatmeal raisen cookies to be precise. Thursday night-with the help of James cutting the Jalepenos-we made salsa. When you've got more tomatoes and a bunch of peppers, you make salsa. For some odd reason, the combination of all the ingredients-tomatoes, onions, jalapenos and bell peppers, makes my stomach churn. I find it quite strange. And last night I made homemade Butterfinger ice cream for the Elders Quoram Ice cream social. So yes, this week I've washed a lot of dishes and cannot wait until the kitchen is redone and I have more counter space.
