June-halfway through

So I've been waiting to write a blog because we finally got our computer, and after some technical diffulties, I've finally have it running enough that I can get on the internet. My hands are having to readjust to a keyboard after using a laptop for almost 5yrs. So really not much happening, but we have had some things go on, so since I'm up early this morning I thought I would indulge everyone in the current events of the Clegg Household.

Paul & Sam finally had their baby Thursday Night! They've been here practically a month waiting for the little dude to arrive-David Haskell Clegg. And he came right in the nick of time-11:30pm Thursday Night so as to not intrude on older brother Logan's B-day June 19th. He's tiny, 7lbs 3 ozs 20 inches long. I kept staring at him as I was holding him, I think he looks different from his two older brothers when they were born. Of course that could change as he is only 1 day old. Jordan and Jaxson enjoyed touching the baby as well. Jordan had a crash course in pronouns, where we kept having to tell him that Baby David was a him, not a her (he kept saying her).
We were able as a family to attend the Oquiirh Mountain Temple open house. After I went to the Draper Temple open house and realized that my little ones could go, I knew I wanted to take them to the next open house. It's very beautiful, and I'm amazed at all the woodwork and artistry. I especially enjoyed the windows they have in some of the areas-they look like stars. Jordan commented that the Baptismal font was Jesus's swimming pool and that an urn (it was big) in one of the rooms was Jesus's trophy-only a 4 yr old could come up with something cool like that. But I think that one of the coolest things and most precious, was standing in the sealing room with my husband and sons and looking at the mirrors staring into eternity. I realized that this could have been the only oppurtunity I could have to actually do this with my family, for it'll be years until I see my boys in a sealing room (and it'll probably be with their wives). Jordan thought it was cool, noticing how things went on and on and on. I told him that our family would be together for years and years and years.
Last Saturday after watching a renovating show of HGTV, I decided that I wanted to do something to make our Kitchen wall look better. We we moved into the house, we started peeling away at what we thought was wallpaper-well it ended up being plaster. I'd been racking my brain as to how I could cover up the mess-different painting techniques etc..-something that would be cheep, and possibly just use paint I already had. James thought that it would be nice to put beadboard up, to which I agreed. So we headed off to Home Depot. $50 later, we had beadboard and molding to cover up the wall and put on a chairrail and new baseboards. It's so much fun to use power tools :)
So the wall isn't completely done, we still need to put another coat of paint on and we need to paint the molding, but the wall already looks 10 times better.

(Sort of the finish product)

(What it looked like before-do you see what I mean by it looking better)
In other news, with all the rain that we keep receiving over the last week or so, our garden looks fantastic. We have lots of lettuce, and our cabbage and broccoli are starting to form. The tomatoes and zucchini are almost doing well. We've been picking alot of stawberries-which are so yummy- and our raspberry and blackberry plants have blossums-yeah! One suprising thing we noticed a couple of days ago was one of our rose bushes out front is starting to bloom. We thought this rosebush dead last year, I mean it looked dead. I guess it's a good thing we didn't pull it out, because it's started new growth, so maybe we'll actually see flowers on it this year.
On a pregnant note, I'm starting to look more and more pregnant-duh huh! I know I'm weird sometimes. Just in the last couple of days I've thought that I've felt the little one move around, but I never get a confirmation movement. I still think that it's too early, but it is my third and you're suppose to be able to feel stuff earlier on, as opposed to the first time. Although I don't think about being pregnant much (knowing that it would drive me crazy in waiting), I am sort of counting the weeks and days till I find out the sex of the baby (3weeks 2 days). Hitting that 20 wk mark is much more attainable than the 23 weeks that I have left.
Jaxson is starting to talk more-which is awesome! It'll still be awhile though until he's talking like his cousins. I've finally gotten him to say "Mama"-for Grandma, but still is resistent to calling me Mommy-I still don't have a name :( He's picked up "Where are you", but in a cute 2 yr old way. So you can hear search for Jordan by saying, "Bubba-are you?"-it's very cute. He also knows that when you sneeze, you say "bless you"-another cute thing. I've also noticed that he interacts with the kids show more and more, helping Mickey call Toodles and so forth. At my parents house last night, he started naming the characters on the high chair. Can you tell that I'm glad that he's talking.
Jordan has upgraded from the little potty to the big potty. I'm amazed that he can get himself up on toilets just because they are just a little bit tall. James is starting to work on the whole standing up thing, I'm leaving that department up to him. Jordan said something very funny the other week at the park, he came up to me and said, "Mommy, I have good news and bads news; the good news is that there is a bug in your shoe and the bad news is that there are crocodiles in the woods." It made me laugh, I have no idea where he picked up the whole good news bad news-must have been from one of the shows.
Well I think that's it for now and I'm still wide awake :)
