I am so glad for fall! It's been so nice to have cooler weather, and be cool myself. I've thoughtfully considered planting trees that change their leafy hues to red because they look so pretty.
Jordan has one more soccer game before the season is over. We're still hoping for a goal from him. It's so much fun to watch him play, because I think he really enjoys just playing with everyone. Preschool I think is paying off. Jordan loves going to school, and it seems like he's finally grasping what I've been trying to teach him.
Jaxson successfully bumped his head twice in a 24hr period leaving two big bruises on his head. My goodness, I have boys.
James has been playing indoor soccer the last couple of months, and just signed on to play another batch of games. He was so proud of himself this last Saturday because he finally scored a goal. James is also doing awesome in school so far, getting A's on all of his first tests this semester.
This last weekend we had Canadian Thanksgiving (we did dinner on saturday even though the holiday was on Monday). It's always funny because people ask what's the difference between Canadian Thanksgiving and American Thanksgiving-not a whole lot. Canadians celebrate this time of the year because that's when their harvest comes in, as opposed to the end of November when the harvest came in for the pilgrims. I think any excuse to have Turkey dinner is good reason enough. Michelle came up for the weekend-which was awesome-along with Rich & Shara and Cami & Ethan who came up for the dinner. After dinner we played our traditional game of UNO (it's a Nelson thing), followed by dessert. The cousins had to leave after that, so they missed out on watching Jordan play Wii bowling. He was so stinking cute-took him awhile to get a hang of it, but he had so much fun playing with Aunt Shell.
Pregnancy wise, everything is going good. I have the normal pregnancy woes of not sleeping well, achy joints, leg cramps, and feeling huge. But I know that all of these woes will be gone once baby comes-except for that whole sleeping thing. I'm actually kinda of nervous to have a newborn again, almost like it's my first time or something. I don't remember feeling this way when I was pregnant with Jaxson, but that could have been due to the fact that I was searching for a house and I had other things on my mind. I'm also a little nervous in having a girl. I've been dealing with boys for the last 4 yrs, and I'm almost seeming lost. It's been a long time-like 10 yrs-since I use to babysit and dealt with little girls. Yeah I have 2 little nieces (Kjerstyn doesn't count because she's 11-that expertise won't come until later), but I don't get the oppurtunity to watch them, and I hardly ever see them now.
I've also been having a mixture of real and fake contractions-my body is doing what it's suppose to be doing in preparing for this baby to come out. With Jaxson, I remember having alot of Braxton Hicks contractions, so I hoping that mixing in the real ones means that maybe I'll have a baby before Thanksgiving, but I'm not relying too much on that theory. I'm carrying her the same way as the boys, so I figure that means we're going the long haul.
I decided to take of picture of the huge belly-really, it's big. It's not the best; but hey, it gives me a clue on how far I've grown.

What a cute little pregnant lady you are. I can't wait to get Gideon into soccer. He runs around kicking his big rubber bouncy ball all the time and then he pumps his fist in the air and says "woo-woo!"
As for running, the Ogden marathon is May 15th, so be prepared to have me as a houseguest that weekend. And trust me, if you hate running now, you should read the books "Born to Run" by Chris MacDougall and "ChiRunning" by Danny Dreyer. (Start with Born to Run. It's more like a novel.) It will totally inspire even those who hate running. I'd love to have you as a training partner someday.
PS - I believe they have a 5K in conjuction with the Ogden Marathon! Love you girl!
