We're heading towards the finish line. Doctors appointment went well again this week, except of course for my blood pressure. When they took it at first, it was 140/86 (high for me, especially since it's normally 120/80), but luckily there was no protein in my urine and my bloodwork came back from last week as normal, so the doctor wasn't concerned about preeclampsia. But because of my rising bp, the doctor is having me check my bp twice-a-day, just to get an understanding of day-to-day happenings instead of week-to-week. So far, they've been normal, so I have no idea why it was higher in the first place.
I'm still dilated to a 1, and like my other children, Madison it hanging pretty high and therefore I believe will not make her appearance until that first week of December. This has given James and I something to talk about. With Jordan: he was 3 days late; never dropped; I pushed for over 2 hours; had to have the vacuum to get him out. With Jaxson: induced on the due date; never dropped; got stuck on the pelvic bone; c-section. My babies like it so much inside of me that they do not want to come out. If Madison follows suit, I'm looking forward to another long labor or a c-section.
I'll keep hoping that something will change, but I'm not going to count on it.
