Jan made this Zucchini/Apple Crisp on her latest appearance to Fox 13. Once I saw her post it, I knew that I had to try it out. Don't let the photos fool you, it really did look quite fantastic. We took this dessert over to Allan & Suzanne's house, but I forgot my camera; but I had the older camera in the car, so I thought that that would work. Wrong. Apparently, I didn't get it focused. So instead, I had to take a picture of a chilled, not so happy looking dessert.
-but it really was quite happy in person-
This dessert fooled everyone. If you never told anyone that it was zucchini, they would never know. I should have made a bet with Allan, I could have made some money tonight. After we filled Allan & Suzanne's bellies, we headed over to my parent's house to let them have a slice. My Dad loved it, my Mom, not so much (although she did say that she's not a big fan of baked apple stuff in the first place).If you want to try it, go here and print off a copy. Enjoy!
