We've had quite the weekend. A very extended weekend thanks in part to the kids having thursday & friday off of school for Fall break. Friday night we had an Elder's Q. Family Date night with a spaghetti dinner, dessert, movies & games. It was fun, but of course it would have been better to have more people show up. James has been pushing real hard to get his Elder's out to activities & fellowship with one another. Saturday night, we had the pleasure of Jan & Bill {James' cousins} coming up for dinner & a show. The boys were very excited to see them. My Mom was kind enough to come & stay with the kids while we went and saw Dave in his play.
Dave did a great job. He was the bad guy {Chauvelin??} and throughout his entire performance he had this stoic, no expression face; except when it came to the sword fight & he almost had the sword swipe him across the face, then his facial expression changed. James & I enjoyed our night out, and were happy to come home and find this:
Two tuckered out boys. Jordan, this morning, didn't even realize that he had fallen asleep during the movie.
This morning, I gave Madi her bath, and I had to take a picture of how crazy her hair looks when I dry it with a towel:
Her hair really is getting longer, I just don't think you notice because her hair is so blonde & fine. She's a cutie!
Jaxson woke up this morning feeling like.....crap. I've been hoping that his little seasonal cold would finish up & go away while school was out, but he woke this morning actually worse.
Poor little guy :( Because of this, he was sent back to bed, with a sippy cup of juice, and the laptop on a little table watching "How to Train Your Dragon". Also because of he being sick, Jaxson got lucky & was able to go stay with James at work while we went to church. Here's hoping that our little Jax-Jax gets better so he doesn't miss too much school, because is working; Jaxson's speech is improving.
