Today, we had playgroup. We've been doing playgroup every Wednesday since the beginning of the summer, and I like it because it gets the kids out & active. I realized coming home just how thankful I am for playgroup. I'm thankful for the fact that I can get together with my friends and our kids can play together.
Ever since James & I got engaged, it's kind of always been the two of us. We were engaged, then married, and then parents, while our friends were in different places. James & I have talked about this and we've both agreed that we just weren't good friends to our friends and that's why our relationships kinda dwindled. So family became our friends {which is not bad at all}.
It's been in the last year or so that James & I have started "making" friends again. It's nice to go to church & have friends there. It's nice to know that James has a buddy at work that he can talk to & trust. James & I know that we will always be each other's best friend & confidant, but it's nice to have more friendships.
So I am thankful for playgroup and the oppurtunity it gives me to chat with my friends.

I'm sorry we missed playgroup today. Preston had a dr. appointment to follow up for the junk he had a few weeks ago. Hopefully we will make it next week. It was such a nice day!!!
