Oh what a busy/fun day we had yesterday. Easter is here! And we are celebrating it all weekend :)
To start off, we went to the Washington Terrace Egg Hunt @ Rohmer Park. My Dad came up to help me out {since James was asleep} which was great since my kids were split up on different fields.
It took only seconds for Madi to understand what was going on. By the end of the day, Madison knew exactly what to do, and didn't want anyone to take her basket.

After the city hunt, we came home, crashed on the couch & watched "The Testaments". Jordan & I were having a discussion on what Easter was & what Easter meant. He kept shrugging his shoulders, so I searched through our movie collection, and found "The Testaments". Perfect. Jordan & I snuggled and watched the entire thing. It was great. Hopefully now, after talking & the movie, he understands a little bit better why we celebrate Easter.
We then packed up and headed over the Nelson household for more egg hunts & Easter goodness {because we'll be spending Easter this year at the Cleggs}. My kids loved finding the eggs, and we had James & Grandpa hide the eggs a couple of times.
After Grandma & Grandpa's House, we came back home & decorated some sugar cookies. When we were cleaning up, Jordan took it upon himself to finish up the frosting.

After cookies, we headed over to the park for yet another egg hunt. Some of our friends put it together, and it was fun.
To end the night, we headed over to the Clegg household to have pizza & decorate eggs.
As we were leaving, Madi & Emily were at the window being silly.
Fun, fun day!
