The resort had a little putting green, which to a bunch of kids is like free miniature golf. The boys had fun putting the balls into the holes; Madi had fun picking up Grandpa's ball before it even made it into the hole.
No matter how much I tried to show Jaxson the right way to hold the golf club, he just did it his own way.
See...Madi helping Grandpa
Grandpa found a ladybug. Jaxson was fascinated with it.
After some lunch & a short nap for Madison, we loaded up into the car and headed to the Big Bass Pro Shop. This was purely for the boys.
First stop. Boats.
"Mommy. I want this for my birthday."
"No Jax. I would rather buy a new car."
"Mommy, I want this for my birthday."
"No Jax. Not this year."
I took this picture just so I could ask James what kind of fish it was because it was HUGE.
If you wanna know, it's a sturgeon.
The store had a casino on the side {because it is Vegas}. There in the casino they had this pretty cool aquarium. We even got to see them feed the sharks & rays.
Madison {well, everyone} was fascinated.
Yep, that was the best group picture I could get of my kids. Like I said, Madison was fascinated with the fishes.
After the Bass Pro Shop, we headed over to another mall that contained a H&M store. I've heard about this store, so I wanted to check it out. Verdict. Not my taste. A lot of flowy, linen looks which is not me. I did however find two summer dresses for Madison @ $5 a piece. I'm almost didn't buy them because the lines to check out were horrible & the customer service was lacking.
After the shopping excursions, we headed back to the resort, changed into our swimming clothes and headed to the pool. This time around, Madison & I took a dip into the hot tub {because I did not feel like getting cold}. Madi was fine as long someone was holding her. The boys had fun jumping into the pool. Good times.
Monday morning, we woke up, packed up, and made our way back home. I was very anxious to get home to see James. So with that being said, it seemed like it took forever once we hit Spanish Fork. But, we made it home when I had told James, and he was waiting with dinner-what a good husband.
Well, our first "official" Spring Break is in the bag. It has definitely got me thinking about our trip to Baton Rouge at the end of May-driving wise that is.
