Happy Birthday Jaxson!!!!
You are now 4!
I can hardly believe it!
Immediately, when you woke up on your birthday, you proclaimed that you were "4 old ears" & that it was your Birthday. To say that you were excited would be an understatement.
We started off your birthday right with a donut tower & a candle
We also let you open up all your presents. The week before we left for our trip, I had asked Jaxson what he wanted for his birthday. I then kissed him goodbye {because he would gone to school before I would be back} and went on my way. When he got home from school, he asked for presents. He then kept asking for them when he saw them wrapped up in the trunk as we drove down. The kid was excited.
We decided for Jaxson's Birthday that we would go to the Baton Rouge Zoo. We invited Leann & the boys & Aunt Kathy to join us for all the fun. We got there right when they opened and we basically had the whole zoo to ourselves. It was nice to just let the kids go and run around without having to worry about crowds and such.
These monkeys were hilarious
When I asked Jaxson what he wanted for his birthday, he said that he wanted "Cool" shoes. It wasn't until our shopping excursion the day before that I finally found some.
It was a hot day at the zoo. But, there was shade. We would have baked at the Hogle Zoo.
Blaine was slurping the water that had fallen on the tray-it was so cute.
Later on that afternoon, while recovering from the heat, I made Jaxson up some Spiderman Cupcakes.
When it came time to eat said cupcakes, I think we sang to Jaxson 4-5 different times to see if the special candles we had bought would do something different.
I don't think he minded at all blowing out all the candles.
And No, the special candles didn't do anything.
It wouldn't be a Clegg birthday without some cupcake stuffing.
Happy Birthday Little Dude!
