Yesterday, James graduated from POST
-Peace Officer Standards Training-
In a nutshell....James is a fully certified law enforcement official, will be carrying a gun, and he can arrest you.
Fun huh.
I swear the last 10 weeks has been more brutal on us than the last 4-ish years of James in college. But just like college, it was something that we had to do.
The ceremony was quick & almost to the point....
~Being sworn in~
~I find it hilarious that James & his buddy Josh (person in front of him) have the same grin on their face after being sworn in. Could it possibly be because they've already said this oath before???~
~My Dad was able to present James with his certificate because of his service in the Military.~
~It's sad that this was the best picture taken of our family.~
~For the past 15 weeks or so, James has not consumed any carbonated beverage. His buddy Josh gave him this Dr. Pepper at the beginning of the 15 weeks, and it's been sitting in the car ever since. With the academy being over, James celebrated!~
Now life will hopefully go back to normal. It'll be nice to have James make his own schedules again & work only minutes away.
