I am back-logged on the happenings on the Clegg family. You see, my computer decided that it no longer wanted to recognize any of the usb ports, thus losing access to my entire life on my external hard-drive. This was sort of the final straw for that computer. James & I decided that it was time to get a new one, and I'm so happy with it.
On with our Fourth of July.
This year, we were fortunate enough to have extra family come over. We were the only ones that could have fireworks (they were banned in Riverdale where my parents live), so we had everyone come over. My cousin Andrea was getting married, so my Grandma Nelson, Aunt Marj & Aunt Naomi were in town for the festivities. I think it's great to be able to have my kids hang out with my Grandma & Aunts. Madison is so cute when she says, "Great-Grandma".
We BBQ up some Elk Burgers & brats, followed by dutch oven Apple-struesel Cobbler & Smores. My Dad & Derek (and I think Dave brought some over too), brought the fireworks, and between all the men folk (and our neighborhood), we had a good show.
-My Mom saw this idea on Pinterest, but it didn't really catch on.-
-we had fireworks in 3 different directions...it was kind of fun.-

It was a very fun night, and I can't wait for Pioneer Day, so we can do it all over again :)
