So I finally decided that maybe it was time to start blogging-grown-up style. So this last weekend I found to be very successful. I decided that Saturday morning I was going to rip up the carpet from the stairs. I enlisted the help of James, and it got done fairly quickly. After cleaning up, we found that underneath the carpet is 3 different colored linoleum layered on top of wooden stairs. I re-tiled the back landing with tile I used in the dining room and we now have clean stairs. James then spent the rest of the afternoon cutting down one of the trees in the front yard. He wasn't able to completely get rid of it, but it is very thin. He's hoping to cut it down completely Tuesday night.
This weekend we'll be heading down to St. George for Michelle's graduation. Jordan is super excited, and I'm ready for some sun. I'm also excited because we'll be staying in a very expensive hotel that I got for cheap off of priceline.com.
