We had a fun weekend. We drove down to St. George Friday morning and made good time considering the hour lunch break we took (I waited in line for probably 20 minutes to get food at a fast food place). We checked into our hotel room and ended up getting a room next to my parents and Kris. Jordan had been wanting to go swimming for over a week, so once we got all our stuff up to the room, we got our swimming gear on and headed to the pool. The hotel had both an indooran outdoor pool and they were connected to each other-and the pool was heated. Jordan grasped the concept of swimming and was fine if somebody was holding him. James also taught him how to jump into the pool which was really cool to watch and think, "Wow, my baby is growing up". I put Jaxson in the water, and he took to it and enjoyed it. Didn't even mind when we dunked him under water-no tears from this one. After swimming we were able to go to Target and see Michelle while she was working.

We had to get up early Saturday morning because graduation started at 9am. Michelle's boyfriend was saving us seats but we still needed to get their early and drive up to Cedar City. The graduation was good, the boys did fairly well. Jaxson started clapping his hands whenever clappingwas going on, which was pretty cute. Since this was a spring graduation, Michelle's main graduation wasn't until 2pm. Michelle took us to get sandwiches and we headed off to this really cool park to play and pass the time away. During the second half of graduation, the boys fell asleep and I almost fell asleep during the speeches. Michelle graduation from the College of Education, and looking at how many students there were sitting, it didn't seem like it was going to be that long. I was hoping to be back in St. George by 4pm, but that wasn't going to happen. The college had 241 Master Degree recipients-about 3/4ths of the students there. The "hooding" of the masters took a bit long, but once they got to the bachelor candidates, it went alot faster. I had taken my digital camera and camcorder to catch the graduation, but when it came time for Michelle to get her degree, the camcorder went dead-oh well. When we got back to the hotel, James took the boys swimming so I could take some pictures.

We packed up Sunday and left, but before we left St. George, we stopped by Michelle's new place to check it out. She and her friends a pretty decent sized house, enough room for her sister and nephews to come down and visit. The trip back home was ok, the boys were just a little tired and a little cranky.
It was a fun trip, and it was nice to be in some warm weather.
