So here's a monthly update of the Clegg Family. First of all, James got his grades back today and we're happy. An A, 2 A-, & a B+. James worked super hard this last semester, and some of the classes were a little more demanding even though they were beginner courses. We were hoping for B's, and James was pleasantly suprised with the A-'s. So he kept his gpa above a 3.5 (3.68 for the semester, 3.9 overall), so he should keep his scholarship-should is the operative word because we haven't heard back from financial/scholarship aid. Since school has been out, James has been working outside. Tuesday night he & Dave took out 2 big trees on the side of our house, and today he's working on taking the branches to the dump. It's amazing how getting rid of two trees completely opens up the view. James wants to get it done in order to get a garden in and he plans on fixing the sprinkler system.

Jordan is becoming more a little boy everyday. He loves going to the park, and I love it too. He's learning how to climb on the rock walls, and I'm trying to teach him how to swing by himself-not exactly working. He had a big accomplishment last week, Jordan got to buy "Cars" the movie because he had had no accidents for a little over a week (since no accidents still). Jordan was way excited to get this treat. I think Jordan is learning how to control himself because I don't worry anymore when we go shopping or he's taking a nap. He's still a big Ben 10 fan, and we found out that Grandma Nelson has it "On Demand" so we can watch it any time. With that he's imagination is growing which astounds me. He has a watch and whenever he wears it, he starts pretending to be Ben 10. You see him turn the watch and hit it, and then he runs off. He also pretends longer being different animals and dinosaurs-it's kinda funny because he kinda really gets into it.

Jaxson is still cute and adorable and I don't think that will ever change. He's still not walking, but I keep having to tell myself that he's not Jordan (Jordan started walking at 10 months). Whenever I try to make him walk, for the most part he goes limp, or bends over backwards-oh well. I've started him on solid foods or grown-up foods for lunch, and he getting the hang of eating hot dogs and chicken nuggets. Jaxson also loves applejuice. When he gets it, it's gone in minutes. If Jordan leaves his cup around, Jaxson will take it and drink that all gone. With it starting to get warmer and us going to the park, Jaxson's birth mark is becoming more prominent on his right cheek. When down in St. George, James & Austin decided that it looked like Texas, while Kris & I decided that it looked like India.

I've been trying to get over winter and cabin fever and I really want spring to be here. The weather here in Utah is weird sometimes. One day you'll have temperatures in the high 70's low 80's, and the next day there's a possibility of snow. I'm tired of winter and not yet ready for summer, but it would sure be nice to have spring. Piano lessons are going well, I'm starting to prepare my students for a recital come June. Hopefully they'll be excited and practice lots, and I just won't have to worry. I finished a book yesterday-a real book. I decided a month or so ago to start reading some of the books I had downstairs that I had read in college. It felt so good to read something and finish it. The book was titled "A Nervous Splendor-Austria 1888/1889". I had read this book for a European History class I had taken, even wrote a paper on it, and I didn't even remember the book. Anyway the book was about Austria during this short time period, and how events that had happened, produced this domino effect that would eventually lead to WWI, and ordinary people becoming famous in the years to come (Freud, Bruckner, Klimt, Brahms etc...). So because I finished that book, I decided to pick up another one to keep broadening my mind.
