"Ok, I'm going to have you stand up & pull down your drawers."

Seriously, that is the first time I've ever heard that phrase directed at me. Had to go to the doctor today because my throat has been killing me the last couple of days. I'd figured that allergies had down a number on my tonsils, and I didn't think that I had strep, just the possibility of another ulcer on my throat. Got swabbed, and sure enough, I've got strep. The PA gave me an option of either antibiotics by-mouth for 10 days or 1 shot that would have me feeling better sooner; I went with the shot-I'm tired of pain. I thought I was getting a shot in the arm, and the PA told me it would hurt, but nope, the nurse came in and gave it to me in the hip-yeah me. My hip sorta still hurts, but my husband took me to get a donut to make it all feel better (something my mom would do for us when we were younger and we had to get shots).

In other things happening in the Clegg family, James & I have been working super hard on the outside of the house getting the garden in and landscaping the yard. It's really coming along, and our garden is starting to grow. I'd just wish it would stop being winter, and start being spring/summer. That's funny in it's self. I had to turn on the A/C Monday & Tuesday, and then on Wednesday when it dropped 40 degrees, turn back on the heater-crazy Utah weather.

Monday, Austin graduated from Highschool. He's such a great kid, an is an awesome uncle. I would say that Austin is different from other kids because he actually knows what he wants to do in life, and is already working in the field. Austin decided that he wanted to go into nursing, and maybe one day be a high-paying nurse. So he took the CNA course this last semester, and has passed all his state tests, and is already working at a nursing home. I joke with Austin that he should work at Mckay the next time I have a kid so he can be my CNA and take care of me.
