So Jordan's Birthday was so much fun. The whole day he realized that it was his special day & had fun opening presents and eating cake. Jordan's B-day party was a Ben 10 themed party. Thank you Mom for finding the Ben 10 decorations! The only thing I was upset about was the balloons. I made the stupid mistake of putting the balloons outside in the morning, instead of right before the party (I was trying to be prepared). As you can see in the picture, there are no black balloons because the black ones shrunk-one even popped. By the time the party started, some of the green ones were starting to shrink. Oh well, Jordan had fun picking them out anyways.
Instead of doing hamburgers and hotdogs, James & I decided to give our hand at cooking brisket. It turned out so well. Because we don't have a big charcoal grill, we decided to try cooking it in dutch ovens. The meat was so moist and delicious. James practically spent all afternoon outside watching the meat.
I swear I put as much frosting as I could on Jordan's birthday cakes. I used 3 1/2 cans of frosting-sugar rush. I think the cakes turned out pretty well. Jordan wanted cupcakes for his cake, so that's the plummer's badge, and then the other cake is just the Ben 10 graphic. It seemed like I spent alot of time in the kitchen, but it was only long because I couldn't get the right colors.
Jordan got a lot of cool presents, and we can tell that alot of people love Jordan. After the party was over and everyone had left, we let the boys run through the sprinklers before their baths and bedtimes. It was a really fun day.
