Draper Temple

So I had the oppurtunity yesterday to go the Draper Temple open house with my Mom. What a gorgeous temple. The Church spares nothing, it is absolutely beautiful. The temple sits high up on the mountain and overlooks the whole salt lake valley-beautiful scenery. From watching remodeling shows, I fully appreciate the fine craftsmenship that was put into the temple. From the stone on the outside (imported from China) to all the marble and stone inside (imported from France), and all the wood inside as well (african cherry-wood). All the mouldings, paintings, carpet, etc.. it was all beautiful. The glass work on the windows and doors (done locally) was as well beautiful. I thought that it was just individuals older than eight that could go, but there were families there with their young'ens. Jordan would have loved to go inside the temple. I think that when the Oquirrh Temple is done and has it's open house, I'll take Jordan down and let him see how beautiful and precious temples are.
It was a really cool/spiritual experience.
