It's the first day of the month. First day of the school year. First day of kindergarten. We are so excited; no really, we are. Thanks to Jaxson, we were up before 7am (only like 10 minutes though), and everything seemed to go smoothly throughout this morning; I mean we left for school early because we were so anxious to get there.
Here are Jordan's "First Day"pictures:

-This one is my fav!

-Everyone else came outside, so I thought I'd get some pics of all the kiddos!

-Apparently I need to have James around, he was getting Madi to smile & laugh-

-Walking to school; it was such a beautiful morning.

-Jordan posing at the School sign

-Lining up at the door. I got Jordan in line, gave him a quick hug & kiss, told him I loved him & to have a good day, and then left to go back over by James.

-Here's the funny thing. James nor I cried or fussed over Jordan. Who cried? Jaxson. He kept trying to get Jordan out of line & have come back home with us.

-Jordan found some friends from soccer. Hopefully (I'm really hoping) he'll always look for people he knows & plays with them. We were hoping that he would have some kids from his primary class be in his class, but they'll all see each other at lunch & recess. I also told Jordan to look for the older kids that he knows & say hi to them.

-heading into class

-Jordan was kinda stalling going in the door; I think he was going to tell his teacher that she's his favorite game (His teacher's name is Oregon, his favorite game is Oregon Trail).
James, Madi, Jaxs & I then walked home. No tears for us, well except Jaxson. Do you know that I actually heard a mom say, "Can't I say she forgot something & go back in there and give her a hug?" We've been waiting for this day for a long time, this new chapter in our life is so new & different. I also had the thought "serious". School is a serious thing, fun, but serious as well. It's going to be fun to go pick Jordan up & ask him how school went today.

I can't believe your baby is in kindergarten. Wow. Time flies way too fast. I think I'll take mine to the park today...
