James & I were lucky to make a trip up to Idaho Falls this weekend. All for this little lady-
Little Miss Parker. She was being sealed to her parents and it was an awesome thing to experience. James was able to take off work early Friday {so we could avoid driving at night...well somewhat} and we got to Idaho Falls by dinner time. It was nice to spend the weekend with just my hubby. Yes...we left the kids behind. I'm so thankful for my parents & my sister for willingness to watch my children. James & I figured that it would be better for them to spend time with Grandparents instead of trying to find someone to watch them up there.
The sealing was Saturday morning, and afterwards we hung out at Cali's house for the remainder of the day. It was a good thing too because a storm came in Sunday morning, making us needing to leave right after Church {and lunch}. It was so nice to catch up with Cali. I also got to meet another sister missionary {that I've heard alot about} from James' mission {that's how I know Cali}-Melissa Popiel.
We left Sunday to crappy roads, but it only cost us an extra hours drive. We're lucky that this didn't happen to us:
The roads were bad basically till Pocatello. Luckily James drove....I was still suffering from the effects of benadryll {from the day before-I took some because my allergies kicked up}.
I was trying to be creative, and was trying to get a picture of me in the side mirror...didn't quite work like I wanted too. But this occupied my time for a couple of minutes.
My kids were excited to see me {which is always a good feeling} and Jordan kept hugging me {I guess he was really missing me today}. Jaxson and Madison were taking a much-needed nap, so they won't see James till tomorrow. That's right, James is back on graves.
Big things are happening this week. I feel.....well, I can't believe that my baby is turning ONE. Aakk. More on that later :)
