Ornaments.
As I was putting the ornaments up on the tree last week, I thought about each one. I've never boughten "just" ornaments to decorate the tree, every one that we own has either been given to us or has been made. I figure that one day the tree will be filled with them, and right now, I particularly like the lack of ornaments-it makes the lights pop out more. Tonight the kids went over to Grandma Nelson's house & helped her put her ornaments up on the tree {mom & dad were off to play soccer}. They did a really good job, and I love looking at my parents tree and remember the different ornaments that we've had growing up.
