As mentioned before {in the previous post}, yesterday I took the kids down to Bountiful in a supporting effort. Michelle, Derek, & Dave were all running the Sweetheart 5k. We got early {I mean earlier than we would for school} & drove down to the South Davis Rec Center {which is a pretty cool place}.
Because we had to get up early, but then had some time before the race, we were able to have some breakfast & goof around.
Derek made these shirts for he & Michelle.
My kids were pretty good about waiting around..technical difficulties and all.

Michelle commented that soccer socks are not the best to run in...unless you have shinguards to keep them up.
The boys had really wanted to run in the race; that's why you see Jordan chasing after Michelle.

Bad thing about later-start races....it interferes with naptime. This was before some major-diva meltdowns.
