Jordan's St. Patrick's Day Party

Yesterday, Washington Terrace Kindergarteners got a party....a St. Patrick's Day party!  And who was the lucky one to plan everything for them???????  Me.  All Me.  The kid's St. Patty's Party was PTA sponsored & I was the only parent to show up & plan the whole shebang; which kind of erked me, but there's nothing that I can do about it now.  I just hope that the kids had fun & if they thought it was lame, well....they should tell their parents to plan the next one :)

There were a lot of cute ideas that I found searching the internet, but they were either too time consuming, too messy, or labor intensive.  I had the kids decorate some magnifying glasses so they could go on a leprechaun hunt.
After playing a couple of rounds of hunting, I quizzed them on some facts & gave them a lucky stone.  We then graphed skittles, which I'm so happy Mrs. Mikkleson gave us the idea-skittles are so yummy.  After graphing, the kids got to eat the skittles, and they also got green cookies {Lofthouse outlet store-awesome!}& a drink.  After sugaring them up, we sent them home.  I really enjoy Jordan's class, and it's fun volunteering and doing stuff with them.  Between music & party's, they all know me as "Jordan's Mom".
Good Job, ya goofball :)
