Franson Family Reunion 2011: Day 2

After waking up from a some-what cold night {except for James; apparently he was sweating}, we got up early to start baking Breakfast for the morning.  The "Suzanne" family was in charge of breakfast Saturday morning, so James & I jumped at the chance to practice our Dutch Oven skillz.  We decided to make PW's Baked French Toast {one plain & one with blueberries}, along with a Egg/Sausage Casserole.  We learned that when you're cooking in the mountains, you need to account the elevation change, so breakfast took longer to cook, but in the end they turned out {and were yummy}.

Madison started out the weekend with a couple of bumps.  Little girl decided not to listen to me & she fell off the bench.  Oh well, right???

Who's that in the tree??

It's a Jordan.

Beautiful baked French Toast.

Our Egg casserole.

After Breakfast, the boys headed up to the lakes to go fishing.  Thirty minutes later the boys returned from fishing.  The lakes were frozen still.  Jordan was v.e.r.y. disapointed.  Grumpy disapointed.  He got over it though once he started playing with cousins.

We played hard all day.  We ate well all day.  Jaxson crashed.

For dinner, we had corn & Madi loved it.  I believe she ate Baby David's corn as well.

We were joking with Brad & Teresa that we can't get pictures of them smiling.  Well, here ya go.  A smiling pic.

That night we had cobbler & homemade vanilla icecream plus slushies from the Dairy Keen.  Little boy woke up, saw that I had my camera & wanted to help me take pictures.  Here is one of the both of us.

That night I took all the blankets :)
