Sunday morning brought the Annual Country Breakfast where a vast assortment of pig product is offered {not really, we just had ham & 30 lbs of bacon}. I must say that I do good job making scrambled eggs-low & slow people :)
What happens when you're running on zero sleep??? You start thinking that you're in a cartoon show. Dave & Paul thought it would be fun to hit each other with aluminum pans. I must say though...it was pretty hilarious :)
Little Madison. She was stuck with either Mom or Dad. Maybe next year she'll have a little more freedom.
Sunday afternoon we had the big Dutch Oven Dinner, complete with the following food:
Uncle Charlies Baked Beans
Fried Chicken
BBQ Shredded Pork
Cornbread
Various Salads
Homemade Root Beer
It was all very delicious. It was hard to eat a little bit of everything. Later that night James & I made a cobbler to share. I made a Peach-Blackberry-Blueberry Cobbler using PW's Cobbler Recipe. It took awhile to cook {not knowing that we were accounting for elevation change} but in the end, it turned out fantastic. Add vanilla ice cream & my tummy was satisfied :)
We ended the night with little kids running around with glowsticks. Madison loved it.
