Yesterday was a fantastic day. Madison turned 2 & baby Hudson got blessed.
So since these two events collided on the same Sunday, I decided to make fun Pink & Green decorations.
I designed these Cupcake piks that said "Happy Birthday Madison" on one side & "Happy Blessing Hudson" on the other.
I made green {vanilla} cupcakes with Watermelon-Cherry Frosting {kool-aid plus frosting is awesome!}
I also made Madison a Lemon Cake with Pomegranate Filling with Pink Buttercream frosting. I decided on the animal cookies last minute-thought it would go along with the pink theme for Madi.
I made some fun decorations
Look at how cute this kid is....
Ab-sa-freakin-ly A-dor-ra-ble!
Madi did not hestitate in blowing out the candle....in fact, James had to cover up the candle because Madison was anxious to blow it out.
Cupcake Time!
David gave me a goofy smile & Madison only ate the frosting.
Now....it wouldn't be a Nelson birthday without a Pinata.
I present to you....
Pink Optimus Prime.
You see.....My parents both bought a Optimus Prime pinata back for either Jordan or Jaxson's Birthday. Michelle still had some pink spray paint from the wedding, so I told my Mom to just spray him pink. The kids had a blast hitting the Transformer!
And to round out the night, Madison opened up some presents.
She got some Princess dolls from Grandma & Grandpa Nelson
A My Little Pony from Uncle Paul & Aunt Sami
And some cute clothes & 2 $1 dollar bills from Grandma & Grandpa Clegg
It was a great night, we had so much fun. I still can't believe that Madison is TWO. Holy Cow.
