Yesterday, for playgroup, we decided to go up to Weber State. The bookstore was hosting Santa, providing crafts for the kids, and showing off some Reindeer.
The kids were excited to see Santa....we had to keep telling all them to stay by their respective Mothers ;)
Jaxson was first up-ran right up there and gave the ole' man a hug.
Jordan went next, but not really with any excitement. He's already starting to question Santa Clause, and I've told him that only those that believe get toys in their stocking.
Madison didn't even want to get close. I knew it would happen, and I didn't want her to throw a fit. So I had her stand off to the side, and I gave her a twizzler-that made her happy :)
After waiting for the Keller & Wilkins kids to go through, we headed outside to see some Reindeer.
Jordan didn't believe me when I said that these were Reindeer. I told him that Reindeer were real, because these weren't elk & they weren't deer.
Madison kept her distance, and decided that sitting on the cold cement was the thing to do.
We then headed back inside to do a fun craft. All the kids decided to make a Christmas Frame. And it was so easy-peel off the paper & stick the different foam applications together.
After the Weber State festivities, the kids were still kind of restless, so I took them to McDonalds to run around and play.
I took this picture of Jordan because he's drinking my Diet Coke & laughing. If you know Jordan, you know that he almost always chooses not to have Soda {of any kind-no carbonation}. This kid seriously was getting hyped up on my Coke, which made me laugh because he giggled everytime he tried to come over and get a sip.
After running around & dinner, James & I decided to put together Madison's Birthday present. I don't know who was more excited....Jaxson or Madison :)
It's so much fun to be able to get out and have some good {cheap} fun!
