Last Friday afternoon, Jaxson's class had a fieldtrip to the pumpkin patch. It was lots of fun. Those kids are lots of fun! It's even more fun when you know who the kids are & they know you back, "Hey! Jaxson's Mom! "
In our little group was Jaxson & his friend Eston.
After a little ride, they dropped us off at the little pumpkin patch. The kids were told that they could only pick what they could carry.
-I swear I told him to look at the camera-
He found the perfect round pumpkin.
After pumpkin picking, we headed into the courtyard where they had a whole bunch of fun activities. My favorites were the slides (yes, I went down them all with Jaxson).
Saturday afternoon after soccer, Paul came over with the boys. Paul & James worked on the car, and I entertained the kids with some cookie decorating while I watched conference. The kids had fun!
Sunday morning we woke up to seeing our pumpkin patch raided, and pumpkin's smashed up & down the street. James & I were upset to say the least; we've worked hard on growing those pumpkins. The boys & I headed outside and performed a pumpkin rescue; James called the cops to inform them of the incident.
The one bright spot to the morning though was the yummy brunch that I made. Orange Juice, Sausages, Blueberry Crumb Cake & Yogurt. To say that James & I consumed that entire cake in almost a day....would not be a joke.
Oh yes...and Conference was wonderful :)
