Here are some things that have been happening in the Clegg household.
While James & I were downstairs, Jaxson came down with his blanket, threw it over his head & asked us to take a picture. Random, I know.
Jordan has been working on his top-two wiggly teeth for what seems like months. Friday, the one tooth seemed like it was ready to go...it was so loose, and apparently dead too. We joked around with friends at the drive-in & gave Jordan 4 choices in taking it out. He wouldn't have it Friday night. Or Saturday night. Finally on Sunday morning, we said enough was enough & we yanked that sucker out.
It's so funny to look at him when he smiles; can I say that he looks goofy? Think of how goofy he'll look when the other one falls out.
* So. James is no longer Elders Quorum President.
Yep. We're done with that chapter.
But.....
Our ward isn't done with him, and there was a vacancy.
A Young Men's President vacancy.
I think this is a fantastic calling for James. He really is awesome with the youth in our wards. It'll be a good fit.
* My Hair is over 2 feet long; not because I intended it to be that way, but out of sheer laziness has it gotten this long. I don't think I've ever had it this long. I keep saying that I'm going to cut, and then maybe color it, but I keep procrastinating. It needs a cut so bad though....
* I'm about this close to getting rid of all the kids baby clothes. Apparently we don't need them anymore.
* It's been 8-ish months since I had my knee surgery. I'm starting to run on the treadmill again; it's kind of great to start working off all the little pudgy areas that have accumulated. I can kind of squat down too....but I still favor my right side, meaning that I use my right knee for most of the strength. I was climbing some hay bales yesterday and I noticed I did the same thing, I went right leg first when I went up. One day, I tell ya, I might be back to normal.
* I love my kitchen. I love the fact that I can use up the entire counter space when I'm cooking/baking. I love the openness. I'm however not really liking my color choice in tiles. Although great in keeping the kitchen light & bright, my heck, you can see every dirty spot. I swear I'm sweeping at least once a day & mopping every other day. Thank goodness for my swiffer jet....makes cleaning a little bit easier.
That's it for now, I'll have to write up another post later on Jaxson's fieldtrip we went on yesterday-it was a lot of fun!
