Madison's 3rd Birthday Party

I like to stagger my kids birthday parties to every other year, so this year is/was Madison's turn to have a party with all her friends.  Oi Vey....Have you ever thrown a party for a bunch of little 3 & 4 year olds???  It took awhile to figure out what Madison wanted for a theme, but we eventually settled down on a Princess theme.

I tried to come up with something that related to each Princess, whether it was food or a game.

-Here's the spread of food...very simple-

Can you guess what movie???

What about this one???

Or this one???

It was hard hiding the juice boxes from my kids before the party..

Yummy Jell-O popcorn.

We decided to throw Madison's party at the in-laws house...the church was unavailable, and although I would have loved to have it at home, with all our guests that were coming, we wouldn't have had the room.  So we decorated Grandma & Grandpa's house with streamers, balloons, and various other decor.

I had put on the invitation for our guests to dress up as a princess or prince.

I planned some fun games for the kids.

Pin the Kiss on the Frog....Name that Movie??

Pass the Poison Apple..

Hide and Seek Princesses

Musical Magical Carpets

And of course a Pinata....although Madie wasn't so sure.

We had some lows during the party....Madison did not want to blow out her candles or have people sing to her.  My Dad had to hold her, and both of us blew out her candles.  I think it was all the people that were there, because she was just fine blowing out candles tonight ;)

After some presents, we said good bye & thank you to our guests, packed up and headed home.  James & I crashed that night.  Definitely an experience, and we're so glad that we were able to provide our Madison with such fun memories!
