Jaxson & iFly

For Jaxson's birthday this year, we decided to shy away from toys & such....the kids have so many, and they don't play with them very often, so we decided to look at other avenues.  We found a great deal of a first-flight package for iFly (a simulated skydiving experience).  We didn't tell Jaxson about it until we showed up in the building....he was uber excited.

Jaxson had to watch a short video, learning the hand signals & how to position your body.  After that, he got fitted with a flight suit, ear plugs & goggles.

All the participants filed into the flight chamber & one by one, the flight instructor brought them in & let them have a whack at it.  I really liked how they set it up; they split your time up, giving you two chances to fly in the chamber.  During the second try, the instructor took each participant up & down the tunnel....so fun to watch!

Jaxson told James & I that we were the BEST.PARENTS.EVER.  Thanks bud, we love you too!  Happy Sixth Birthday!
