So if you don't remember, we have chickens. They live at Michelle's house, and James & the kids are having a lot of fun with them. A couple of weeks ago, we made sure that Ragnar stayed inside & let the chickens out to roam around outside. We wanted the chickens to eat some bugs, which is suppose to be good for egg-making.
In the last 2 weeks, our chickens have started laying eggs...Yay! The first couple were huge (large sized), but now the eggs we're getting are smaller. We've gotten over a dozen now....it's a good start, but they still owe me a lot more to pay off their feed ;)
We have found out though that Michelle's chicken, Little Nugget, is a rooster & therefore will be turning into little nuggets. Jordan doesn't like us talking about hacking off heads, but we've told the kids from the beginning that if any of the chickens were roosters, we'd have to kill it (because you can't have roosters in Roy). It'll probably be happening sometime next week, so that's another adventure.
