James got lucky this year, and we celebrated his birthday 2 weeks in a row. The weekend before his birthday we headed down to Sandy to eat at Joe's Crab Shack & catch an Real Salt Lake Game. The food was very good at Joe's (it was our first time)....we completely stuffed our selves. James was also appreciative that I did not tell the waiter that it was his birthday....because they go a little crazy there.
James & I were very excited for this game. RSL was playing against the Seattle Sounders, which is kind of a rival team, so we new that it was going to be a good game. I got us some good tickets :)
It was a great game! Real won 2-0 against the Sounders.
We're thankful for Aunt Michelle & Uncle Derek...they took the kids for the afternoon/night so James & I could go out. The kids had fun roasting hot dogs & marshmallows, and having Uncle Derek teach them how to play Minecraft.
The next weekend, James headed out on the 27th to go fishing with his brothers. We met up with James at the Family Reunion camp site, and had quite the crawfish boil. It was so yummy. I made James a Strawberry Cheesecake Pie, which we consumed with family.
