Well then....it's been awhile since I've blogged. But instead of worrying about catching up, I figured that I would just start with Christmas.
We had a fantastic Christmas! We kept it very basic this year, honing in on one or two presents that each kid would like.
Santa brought us fun stuff in our stockings!
James: Dutch Cookies & Ankle Socks JeNae: Book, Socks & Dutch Cookies Elise: Books
The kids were up early...like 6:30 am early. Which would have been fine in years past, but when you have a newborn, that's a different story (I had just gotten back to bed at 6 am). We made the kids wait till 8...then we let them into the Family Room.
Jaxson & his cars
Madison & her Pink Scooter
Jordan has been wanting to buy this toy for months! Luckily he held off so Santa could bring it to him.
Jordan, Jaxson & Madison also had the chance to shop for presents for one another. I took each one separately shopping & made them really think what the others would like. They even got presents for Elise.
The big present that we got for the kids was a Kindle Fire HD. They were super excited! This is a present that they all have to share (which they are doing good at so far-thanks to Kindle Free Time).
James took on these next presents all by himself. He had such a fun time making them. PVC bow & arrows.
Here's a breakdown of presents for future reference:
Elise: Wrist rattles (Jordan), Stuffed Animal (Jaxson), Book (Madison) & Sunday Outfit
Madison: Pink Soccer Ball (Jordan), My Little Pony (Jaxson), Sunday Outfit, Amazon Giftcard
Jaxson: Red Xbox 360 Controller (Jordan), Mess Kit (Madison), Sunday Outfit, Amazon Giftcard

We are a very blessed family!
Christmas afternoon & night was spent at the Nelson's house with Grandparents, Aunt Michelle, and Uncle Tyler & his family. It was great to lounge around, chat, snack & eventually feast on Turkey.
We love our Family!
Merry Christmas!
