This past year has flown by SO FAST! Elise turned ONE a week ago and I still can't believe it. She is definite Joy in our lives.
- Elise weighs in at 15 lbs 3.5 ozs....I'm pretty sure that's hitting a negative percentile, but the paper says 0%
- Elise is 26.5 inches tall...she is our petite munchkin! We just say that she's taking after her Great Grandma Irene (who was under 5 ft) whom her middle name comes from.
- Elise loves to eat! Which you would never guess because she is so small.
- Elise in the last week has found her voice (and at church no less). She likes to talk (babble) & it's quite fun.
- Although not walking yet, we're making progress on standing alone & finding our balance. I'm not too worried; I honestly think it would be weird to see her toddling around-because she's so tiny.
- Thanks to a trip to St. George at the beginning of October, Elise is weened off of nursing. We're still working on introducing regular milk; she just doesn't take to it and would rather have water.
- Elise has been sleeping through the night for a while now. She goes to bed with her siblings & wakes up with her siblings. Jordan usually makes it to her in the morning before I do.
- Elise LOVES her Eggo Waffles!
