Renunions & Easter

So the Clegg family had quite the eventful Easter weekend. We had so much fun. On friday, our good friend Cali & her little boy Gideon came down from Idaho Falls for the mission reunion. For those of you who don't know, Cali was a sister missionary from James' mission, and ever since they got back, have been the best of friends. It was at her place that James & I got engaged. So anyways, the only reason James & I were going down to this reunion was because Cali was coming. We were a little skeptical at first because James only recognized one or two people, Cali a few more. Then a couple of people showed up (pictured below) that James hasn't seen in forever, and people that I've never heard of. I had a good time as well, because it wasn't all about mission talk. James and his old buddies talked about what they're doing in life, and didn't just stick to "do you remember when". I thought the funniest thing about everyone there was someone would say, "hey what happened to so & so?", then the reply from everyone else, "oh yeah so & so." and they would go on and conjure up memories of that person. It was a fun night and we got home pretty late, or I should say later than I thought we would of been home. Jordan and Jaxson didn't go with us because I wasn't sure if there would be other kids, but it turns out that everyone that did have kids, brought them. Oh well. The three of us took turns chasing Gideon down from the stage-not the safest thing for a 1 yr old.
Saturday morning, my parent's ward held an Easter breakfast and egg hunt. It was yummy and fun. I couldn't believe how many people showed up, and how many people I do not know that are in the ward now. I recognized some people that were like Tyler & I (kids who've come back because they're parent's are there), but other than members I know, didn't know alot of people. My parent's ward have smart people. I knew they would a fantastic job on the egg hunt because they had planned the trunk-or-treat so well. They had everyone 3 and under do they're hunt outside on the lawn, and told all the kids to only grab 10 eggs.
Jordan is an awesome big brother. When I tell him to take Jaxson's hand, he does it. I hope he's understanding the concept of watching out for his younger brother.

Me and my boys.

After the hunt was done at the church, we went over to my parent's house and did an egg hunt with Tyler & the girls (because they wouldn't be there on Easter). Sonja loved it along with the boys. Jordan had James keep hiding eggs so he could find them.
Baby Bryn-so cute!

The boys got new sunday shirts w/ties from the Easter bunny. I thought they looked adorable.
And here's an update on Austin. His Branch President called my parent's yesterday-I know shocking that Austin went to church. He called to say that Austin was doing well, and looked good compared to alot of the other boys. They were going to transfer his records over, and I guess the Branch works really hard to keep these boys on the straight and narrow, even have service missionaries assigned to their branch. I guess they average 5-6 baptisms a month down there, which we found really interesting. I guess we can send letters to Austin now, but we can't mail them till the end of the week because Austin doesn't want to be the first one to get a letter-just makes me want to send one right now.
