I wanted to do something fun tonight. I then remembered that Jordan had a free coupon for the NickleCade that would get an adult & child in for free; add another coupon from online for B1G1 Free, & this started my plans for a fun {cheap} family "date" night.
We started our evening with dinner at one of our favorite {cheap} spots...Sam's Club {I had to get milk anyways...}. After dinner we headed over to the in-laws because of this phone call I got this afternoon:
Allan, "Hey, so I was out in the desert & at our campground & I saw a tarantula. I caught it. I'm going to keep it alive till tomorrow afternoon, so if you want to bring the kids by to see it, you can."
And sure enough when we walked into the Grandparents house, there sitting in a jar on the counter, was in fact a big spider. The boys were fascinated with it. James wanted to keep it as a pet. I said no & we carried on to our next activity.
We then went to NickleCade & spent about $4 dollars worth of nickles into the machines. I think we all had a blast. Skeet Ball & the shooting games were the favorites of the night. Madison did fantastic sitting in her stroller observing us play around. We turned in our whopping 34 tickets & the boys got: 2 blow pops, and 2 tootsie rolls...whohooo.
Here are some pictures:
We had such a fun night & my goal is to do more fun {cheap} activities like this in the future.
