Here's a little update on what's been happening the last week:
Last Friday night, James & I headed down to West Jordan with our friends the Drapers, to have a date night at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We were very appreciative that my cousin Scott & his wife Karolyn took our kids for the night (they live right by there). I just had a feeling to ask, and they said yes, and my kids had so much fun with their cousins.
The Oquirrh Mtn. Temple is so pretty & it was so peaceful going & probably one of the best sessions that we've done ever. Our friend Josh snapped this pic of us, alot better than the one we took the week before at the RSL game. After the temple, we went to Olive Garden & ate lots of pasta & yummy breadsticks.
Last Saturday started our season of Fall soccer. I missed Jaxson's first game because I was with Jordan at his race (which I'll put in another post), but I took pictures today & will post them later as well. James is coaching Jordan & Jaxson this year & I think they both like having their Daddy coach them.
Last Saturday night was our Ward's Annual Ice Cream Social. This year however, they added popcorn & a movie. It was such a fun activity! I didn't have time to make homemade ice cream, but I did however make my lemonhead cookies. I used those cookies to make ice cream sandwiches with strawberry & raspberry ice cream. I didn't get to try them, but I heard they were delicious.
James was in charge of popcorn, and was continually popping the corn throughout the entire movie; the kids loved it!
It was Green Ribbon Week this last week & on Thursday, the kids got to have Crazy Hair. I was a nice Mommy & went and got some Colored Hairspray for the boys. They loved it!
